Trust and Insurance

Are you bonded and insured?

Yes. Frisco Brothers Janitorial Service is bonded through Hartford Insurance, with general liability coverage in place since the company was founded in March 2001. A certificate of insurance is available on request before service begins.

Can I get a Certificate of Insurance?

Yes. A COI naming your business as certificate holder is available on request, typically before the first service date. [INTAKE-CONFIRM] Mark to confirm exact turnaround time (same-day, next-day) and whether the request goes through Sandra or directly to the carrier agent.

Do you carry Workers’ Compensation on your crew?

Yes. Workers’ Comp is in place for all staff. [INTAKE-CONFIRM] Mark to confirm carrier name (same bond carrier or separate) so we can name it here the way the bond carrier is named.

Do you have ISSA, CIMS, GBAC, or IICRC certifications?

No. Frisco Brothers does not hold ISSA, CIMS, GBAC, or IICRC certifications, and the company does not pursue them. That is a deliberate decision, not a gap.

The certifications above are designed for hospital and surgery-center cleaning, biohazard remediation, and clinical-level disinfection. The accounts here are outpatient medical and dental offices, daycare centers, churches, schools, warehouses, and commercial offices. Those environments do not require hospital-grade certification, and a cleaning company that serves them well does not need to carry it.

If you operate a hospital, surgical center, or facility requiring HAZWOPER or clinical-level remediation, Frisco Brothers is not the right fit. For everything else in commercial cleaning, the absence of these certifications has no bearing on the work.

Crew and Hiring

How do you hire and screen your crew?

Every hire passes a background check and a reference check before their first day on a client site. Mark McGlothlin personally approves each hire. The company hires locally from the Frisco area rather than using staffing pools or subcontractors. After onboarding, supervisors Victor and Ana Ayala run unannounced spot inspections on every active account to confirm the work is holding.

The full process, including first-day onboarding and the role of supervisor inspections, is on How We Hire and Inspect Our Cleaning Crew.

Who actually shows up for the work?

Your assigned crew. The company does not rotate crew members between accounts on a weekly schedule, and most crew members stay with the company for years. The same people who clean your building this month will, in most cases, be cleaning it next year.

Crews wear Frisco Brothers branded shirts on site. Supervisors check in regularly, and the owners (Mark and Sandra McGlothlin) are personally active in cleaning client facilities, which means they are in client buildings on rotation alongside the crew.

What is the owner walk-through commitment?

Mark or Sandra McGlothlin handles every initial walk-through personally when scheduling allows. The walk-through is free, sets the scope and the price, and is what every contract is built from.

After the contract starts, both owners remain personally active in cleaning client facilities. Mark also runs his own spot inspections on active accounts, in addition to the supervisor inspection program. [INTAKE-CONFIRM] Mark to confirm the cadence he wants stated publicly for owner site visits (monthly, quarterly, on-demand) so this answer is specific rather than general.

Service and Operations

How long has Frisco Brothers been in business?

Since 2001. Frisco Brothers Janitorial Service was founded by Mark McGlothlin and his brother Rick in March of that year, and has operated continuously from Frisco, Texas ever since. Rick retired in 2025 after running the Simpson Strong-Tie manufacturing account for 23 years. Mark and Sandra McGlothlin are the current owners.

Same city, same address (Frisco, TX 75033), same ownership family, uninterrupted. The 5.0 rating across 56 Google reviews and the 65+ active client base reflect that tenure.

Are your cleaning products eco-friendly?

Eco-friendly products are the default on every account where children, patients, or the public are in the space: medical and dental offices, daycare centers, churches with Sunday school programs, and schools. There is no surcharge for eco-friendly product selection on these accounts. It is the standard, not an upgrade.

For commercial offices, warehouses, and other accounts where eco-friendly is not the default, the option is available on request at no additional charge.

What if something is missed or damaged?

If something on the contract scope was missed, call (214) 618-0816 and the crew or a supervisor will return to address it. The supervisor inspection program is designed to catch these before the client has to, but if something gets through, the callback is included in the contract. There is no separate charge for fixing what should have been done correctly the first time. [INTAKE-CONFIRM] Mark to confirm the standard turnaround commitment (next service visit, 24 hours, same day for urgent items) so this answer carries a specific number.

If something is damaged during cleaning, the bond is the coverage path. Report the damage promptly, document it (photo plus brief description), and Mark will work it through the bond. [INTAKE-CONFIRM] Mark to confirm the typical claim timeline so we can set the right expectation here.

Billing and Coverage

How does pricing work?

Pricing is set at a free, on-site walk-through before any contract is signed. The five factors that shape the price are square footage, frequency (daily, weekly, bi-weekly), service type (routine versus specialty floor/window/carpet work), the current condition of the space, and the number of restrooms and high-touch areas. The walk-through quote is the quote. No surprise add-ons after.

What happens after the walk-through?

Mark or Sandra delivers the quote, typically within a few business days of the walk-through. Once the contract is signed, most new accounts begin service within one to two weeks. Same-day or next-week starts are possible for time-sensitive accounts when the schedule allows.

What cities do you serve?

Frisco (home base), Plano, McKinney, Allen, The Colony, Lewisville, Little Elm, Prosper, Celina, Carrollton, Coppell, Aubrey, and Savannah. That is 13 cities across Collin and Denton counties. See all 13 cities we serve for the full list with city-specific service detail.

Do prices change based on which city we are in?

No. Pricing is set by square footage, frequency, service type, condition, and restroom count, not by distance from the Frisco headquarters. A medical office on Preston Road in Plano and a medical office in Frisco get priced from the same variables.
